Looking where to fly in?  Cooperstown is central to three commercial and one municipal airport.  The Oneonta Municipal Airport is the closest paved airport to Cooperstown, just 20 miles south of the village.  Albany International Airport, located to the east, the Greater Binghamton Airport, located to the south-west, and Syracuse Hancock International Airport to the north-west, all around a one and a half hour drive.

The Leatherstocking Railroad Historical Society provides recreational and historical train rides for guests and locals alike and is located in Milford, ten minutes south of Cooperstown.
