Each year brings more attractions and recreational opportunities to the Cooperstown area. The Baseball and Beyond theme reverberates in this section, as you will find museums, theatres, art galleries, wineries, breweries, and cider mills.

New for 2004 is the Barnyard Swing Miniature Golf Course, which joins two other miniature golf courses as a source of recreation for the entire family. Also scheduled for its inaugural this year is the opening of The Great American Baseball Show. Our newest art gallery – Silver Horse has a wonderful collection of local crafts in beautifully renovated barn. The exhibition Otsego Lake Past and Present opens at the Farmers’ Museum this Spring. It is an exploration into the changing faces of Otsego Lake, its uses, and present and future challenges. Several interesting emporiums are opening in Cooperstown this season which bear visiting!
