Thanks to the generosity of Leatherstocking's Promise, students at Milford Central School and community volunteers the David Sayre Store and House Museum has a beautiful heirloom garden, planted in spring 2004 and maintained by vibrant community gardeners.

The garden boasts species of flowering plants from the mid-19th century.
